Dear visitor to the Theater Waidspeicher website,

Every single theatre performance is unique. It exists in the fleeting magic of the encounter between the performers and the audience. Sometimes, we are fortunate and can share these common moments that move us so much. For the art of theatre is to reflect the experiences and feelings of people from other places or times, and to make them present and real to us. We sense this in feelings of joy, amazement, puzzlement, consolation, surprise, horror or in a satisfying sigh of relief. After such an experience we leave the theatre as a changed person: more awake, more sensitive, braver and more aware than before. That is why I love this wonderful, thousands-of-years-old art form.

As the new theatre director, it gives me great pleasure to manage the Theater Waidspeicher in Erfurt and to welcome you as our guests. Also starting work with me are Anna Fülle, Kristine Stahl, Paul Günther and Christina Onnasch. Come and take a look at the old and the new members of the ensemble.
