Thank you for your attention, your praise, your critical companionship and your encouragement during our first year together! You and your children with my ensemble have shared a slice of life - in the world of fantasy as revealed by the art of theatre.

Stay with us at Theater Waidspeicher for the 2010/ 2011 season. As well as our current repertoire of twelve productions we have also got six premieres ready for you:

The very young can look forward to a new Janosch story and a "porcelain-smooth" tale by Hans Christian Andersen. Older children can expect Cornelia Funke's "Inkheart" one of her well-loved stories that we are producing in conjunction with Thüringer Landestheater Rudolstadt. For audiences of 12 or older we are presenting a co-production with Theater Erfurt of a semi-opera by Henry Purcell as an enchanting Theatrum mundi. "Romeo and Juliet" a musical puppet-theatre production that has won international prizes, will have have its premiere for young adults at Theater Waidspeicher. And adult audiences can expect a Biblical-philosophical world-theatre with the "Goldberg Variations" by George Tabori.
